Ibiza is one of the the most famous island of the Balearic archipelago is known primarily because of its booming nightlife. Ibiza is a small island with an area of 572 km², almost six times smaller than Majorca and it has has nearly 80,000 inhabitants. Lesser known facts of Ibiza are that it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known in the diving community as a secret gem with incredible underwater sites to discover. 

The water conditions in Ibiza are especially perfect for beginners and for users of PETER Diving System. The crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean boast an array of caves and wrecks. The underwater treats to be found in Ibiza attract budding beginners and experienced divers from all over the world. The wrecks are a particular favourite in Ibiza and have become home to a mass of stunning aquatic life; beautiful and exotic sea creatures.

Ibiza has an ideal climate for watersports, the water temperatures are optimal for diving year-round, varying  between 14°C (57°F) and 28°C (82°F). The underwater visibility is exceptionally good for the Mediterranean Sea, ranging between 30 to 50 meters (100-160 feet) on average and currents are near non-existent around Ibiza, which makes it one of the best and most safe places to learn to dive with the PETER Diving System

Also The Caves of Light- An unreal site that seems like it was the work of humans due to its elegant design, the walls of the cave light up brightly with red and orange colonies of polyps and sponges.
