Spain boasts a broad array of dive options, almost entirely surrounded by water. Situated in the south of Europe, Spain has the Atlantic to the north and the Mediterranean to the south. There is an extraordinary variety of marine life in Spain’s waters, from nudibranchs to sea bass. Marine life regularly encountered includes octopus, conger and moray eels, lobster, grouper, weaverfish, moonfish, dolphins, damsels, wrasse, scorpionfish, together with a variety of faunas and corals. You can see whales, dolphins, and sometimes even sharks on your dives.

Spain is renowned for its marine reserves. From the Columbretes Islands and Cabo de Palos in the Mediterranean to Isla Graciosa and La Restinga in the Canary Islands. The most popular area is the Costa del Sol, the center point being the town Malaga which located on the southeast coast of Spain.
